5-DAY ADVENTURE

STORY VESSEL WORKSHOP

Clay is a wonderful story-telling medium... I consider it my responsibility, as an instructor, to guide students in how to talk to the clay and how to listen to it as well.  I will encourage participants to use clay as their voice for communication, sharing and even healing.  Whether your story is a personal  message or a global one, you will tell it in clay.

I will work with students at their own levels... from beginners to advanced students. I will share my art, knowledge and experience in clay - taking thoughts and ideas and translating them from clay into sculpture.  I will also share my skills as a painter - demonstrating glazes and cold finishes.  You may decide to use additional found object to complement your work... Students will be encouraged to find their own solutions. 

My journey and message has most often been one of illuminating the positive, and trying to share that with others through art.  

Cost for this 5-Day Art Adventure Workshop is $450 usd, includes  instruction, clay, firing and studio supplies (please bring your favorite tools).
